Agatha Christie trail

The trail has now closed.

A new trail at Brixham Heritage Museum reveals Agatha Christie’s previously unexplored links to Brixham including how she was inspired to create Hercule Poirot, and the contribution made by her husband Max Mallowan to Brixham’s Home Guard during WW2.

The trail is the museum’s contribution to the International Agatha Christie Festival in Torbay, UK, which presents many events from 11 to 18 September 2021. Samantha Little, the museum’s writer in residence, created the trail.

Trail presentations are integrated with the museum’s object displays; there are ten for visitors to find.

They are free to view: there is no charge to visit the museum, open 10:00 to 16:00 Tuesday to Sunday.

Now open until the museum closes for the season on 31 October 2021.
