Fragment of a WW2 bomb. Attached label: 'Piece of 500lb bomb casing which fell in Crown Meadows on October 7th 1940. 120 mm long x 56 mm max width x 12 mm thick.

Banal and terrifying. Imagine this thing spinning towards you at the speed of sound, with its sharp jagged edges, and its dead weight. It would make you wonder why governments have not done more to create unity between European nations. It would be the least we could do to prevent more war.
